Signs You Love Your Job

Do you feel excited to go to work? Does tackling the day's challenges bring you joy? Do you love your job or is it time to look further and make a career move? Jeff Haden of Inc magazine compiled a list of tell-tale signs that you love the work you do:
  • You don’t struggle to stay motivated
  • You think “I hope I get to” instead of “I hope I don’t have to”
  • You don’t talk about other people; you talk about the cool things other people are doing
  • You trust your team members and they trust you
  • You see your internal and external customers not as people to satisfy but simply as people
  • You enjoy your life and your work
  • You worry about whether you are making as big of an impact as you can
  • You view success in terms of fulfillment and gratification, not just money
  • You are excited to tackle your to-do lists
  • Your work day seems to fly by quickly
  • You help and pitch-in automatically. You want all to succeed
  • You would recommend your job to others – even your children
Mr. Haden adds if you do love your work, it is not likely you will feel good about it 100% of the time. Everyone has off-days or unforeseen challenges, but you should feel good about your job most of the time. If not, it might be time to make a career change. Share what you love most about your job.
