Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill a direct hire material handler opening with a company located in Hamel, MN. Interested candidates should preferably have related material handling experience in a manufacturing environment and Microsoft Office knowledge.
Material Handler Job Description
- Pick and kit materials
- Communicate/respond on material movement to and from both production areas and outside locations
- Accurately document material movement within the inventory system
Material Handler Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of related receiving, materials/parts picking or shipping experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with company personnel and others
- Intermediate computer skills, including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and instructions
- Ability to work individually or as a team
- Desire to learn new tasks and grow on the job
Compensation for Material Handler
The starting salary for this position is $19+ per hour (DOQ ).
