Document Control Coordinator
Location: Plymouth, MN
Currently looking for a skilled individual to fill a temp-to-hire Document Control Coordinator opening at a company that specializes in the manufacturing of laboratory equipment, located in Plymouth, MN. Interested candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and have at least 2 two years’ experience with documentation in a manufacturing environment.
Document Control Coordinator Job Description – 1st Shift
- Coordinate product and process documentation to meet ISO 9001 and 13485 Quality System Requirements
- Complete product operation documentation, maintenance manuals, price lists, testing and inspection reports, technical bulletins, standard operating procedures, checklist, and forms
- Assist Engineering Department with administrative tasks and documentation for custom-ordered products
- Receive department requests to create and/or modify documentation
- Clarify information requests as needed
- Assign document numbers, update or create new documents and review
- Release and communicate approved document creation/change orders
- Maintain and improve documentation repository system
- Copy and san files as needed
Document Control Coordinator Job Requirements – 1st Shift
- 2 two years’ experience with documentation in a manufacturing environment
- Preferably have experience with an ISO Quality System
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Have good organizational and communication skills
- Math skills including the ability to add, subtract, and interpret common fractions and decimals
- Ability to sit or stand, move around, and use hands to handle, feel or grasp objects
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to see close up and adjust focus
- Ability to problem solve
- Good attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED
Compensation for Document Control Coordinator – 1st Shift
The starting salary for this position is $18.00 to $23.00 per hour (DOQ).
